She has studied international business, international relations, and China at The Ohio State University and Georgetown University, where she received her bachelors and masters, respectively.

Olivia has been an active member of the ex-pat community since moving to Beijing in May 2016. In May 2017, she was co-lead for a 2-day event called Umoja, which was purposed to bring WeChat connections into real life and create a space for dialogue, art, and community. This was the first event of many dedicated to building community, as it was the focal point of all her work. She looks forward to continuing to growing her businesses and community, one meal at a time.

Tianmi Bakery was started in the Spring of 2017 by baker and chef, Olivia Nadine from the US. Over the last two and a half years, Tianmi has developed a large and dedicated following within the Beijing ex-pat community. Specializing in American style desserts, Tianmi’s signature desserts include its Spiced Vanilla Rum Cake, Tahini Brownies, and Java Chocolate Chip housewarming cookies.

Since it’s launch, Tianmi has participated in a number of competitive markets in Beijing, including but not limited to Rumble in Jumble, Beijing Flea Market, and the Beijing Rivera Sunday Market. This has solidified Tianmi’s position in the expo community as a go-to source for delicious homestyle desserts. It also paved the way for the introduction of Tianmi Takeovers in the autumn of 2018. Simply put a Tianmi Takeover is a pop-up family-style feast.

Tianmi has collaborated with a number of wonderful restaurants and businesses to bring its Southern flair to Beijing. From innovative food incubators, like Hatchery, to award-winning hotels, like The Orchid, Tianmi has been able to collaborate with major players in Beijing’s food and beverage industry.
