Cassava is the great staple food of Brazil. It’s an indigenous ingredient loved by all Brazilians. It can be eaten simply cooked with some butter, or prepared in different other ways. The most well-known is Tapioca Starch. This fine flour behaves in a very interesting way, creating a string-gel-like texture that makes it possible to create different dishes to substitute for gluten-based snacks.
In this class, you will be able to learn how to make 4 different Brazilian preparations, using this easy-to-find-everywhere Brazilian ingredient. From the famous “Pão de Queijo” to the delicious melt-in-your-mouth “Sequilhos” cookies. Come to learn how to diversify your starch intake and try these with delicious coffee or tea-friendly snacks.
