The SURGE Art fair marks the return of The Hutong’s Life Drawing club, to be hosted on Monday evenings, from 7:30 to 9:30. Come and join Beijing’s most popular drawing group on Monday evenings at the Hutong! Meet other interesting people in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Life Drawing workshops will be facilitated by Mary McElhinny. Mary has studied drawing and painting at the School of Visual Concepts, Pratt Fine Arts Center, and the University of Washington. She recently exhibited her work at Four Corners Restaurant and Bar in Gulou. She enjoys working in water-based media and is currently learning traditional Chinese landscape painting.
