Tour of China: Noodles

Join us in our Hutong Kitchen and discover the amazing diversity of Chinese cuisine! Our upcoming Tour of China will introduce you to the dim sum dens from Hong Kong, the tea plantations from Yunnan, and the noodle stalls from Xinjiang. With our series of weekly cooking classes, you will find yourself spicing and stir-frying your way around the Middle Kingdom in no time.

The Hutong’s Tour of China will feature a different regional cuisine each month:

Come October, we’re traveling around China on a string!  In our October Tour of  China Noodle series you will learn four elightful styles of noodles from around the country, a different one each week. Learn the ancient art of kneading noodle dough, rolling, pulling, and slicing, as well as delicious homemade sauces and soup. This series will include:

Shanxi Rolled Noodles
Cat-ear Noodles
Yunnan Rice Noodles
Xinjiang-style Noodles
