Freelance Events Manager
- Manage team-building events at our venue and offsite for corporate clients. Events include our Hook n Cook culinary competition, Think n Drink cocktail challenge, Zou n Go amazing race, Catering projects and Retreats at the Great Wall.
- Commission-based payment structure with potential for full-time work based on performance.
- Incentives for bringing in new clients and hosting events
Requirements:
- Friendliness, creativity and excitement about working with international colleagues and clients
- Dedication to details from sales pitch to event execution
- Availability most nights and weekends
- Successful completion of trial event period followed by minimum 6-month commitment
Preference:

- Savvy to the Beijing events scene

- Previous events management experience

Zou n Go Amazing Race Freelance Actor
The Hutong is running cultural scavenger hunts (think Amazing Race) that involve interactions and challenges with characters (in costume) from Chinese history. Right now, we would like the ability to add your email to our database!
Requirements for participation in Zou n Go Event:
- Daytime and/or weekend availability (2-4 hours)
- Willingness to get into character (act and wear a costume)
- Willingness to help source costumes and brainstorm challenge games
- Friendly, flexible, outgoing and fun!
- Reading training document in advance of event
- Acting experience preferred but not necessary
- English speaking or bi-lingual (second language OK)
Participants are compensated for their work based on the length and type of hunt, 200+ RMB/session plus members rate for one hutong class or workshop for each event successfully completed.

Hosts and Facilitators for Team-building events
If you are interested in being an emcee or professional facilitator for our signature team-building events, please let us know! Rates are based on type of program and experience, but start at 300RMB/event or in exchange for Hutong classes and workshops.
Requirements:
- Evening and weekend availability (3+ hours)
- 2-3 unpaid training events
- MC: Funny, outgoing, entertaining
- Facilitator: Creative and friendly with a background in corporate training such as international communication, team dynamics, etc.
- Able to manage groups of 20+ guests
- Experience with international teams and interest in developing China-centric programs

- Previous event hosting experience OR corporate facilitation experience
