“Seasonal cocktails using fresh, local ingredients”
All-new drinks for this latest cocktail class from drinks consultant, bar owner and writer Paul Mathew.
After a brief refresh on the basics of cocktail-making and equipment, this workshop will show you how to make some classic drinks with some very special ingredients, from top-of-the-range and unusual spirits, to fresh ingredients from our local Hutong market.
This session will focus on drinks for the colder weather, again using seasonal ingredients, but this time looking at some different mixed drink types, including blazers, toddies and pan-fried cocktails! Plenty of new things, so even if you’ve been to a session before, there will be plenty to learn (and drink).
The focus will be on gin, rum and whisky, with a selection of premium brands to compare and contrast as ever.
There will be hot gin punch on arrival (and throughout the evening for those that need it).
Please come and join us for a very warm welcome, and our most fragrant cocktail session to date!
It’s a fun evening that is held in the style of our cooking classes; it is suitable for those keen to know more about cocktails as well as those who just want a fun evening with a few drinks. Paul is a qualified spirits and cocktail trainer and will happily answer any drink-related questions you may have.
All drinks are all included – from classic brands to premium rarities, and strength can be adjusted to suit your preferences, from designated driver to martini-lover.
