CINEMA PARADISO

Dir: Giuseppe Tornatore, 1988, 123 min

At times romance, at times comedy, all the while sublime, Cinema Paradiso is one of the great films about love for cinema. Shot in post-WWII Italy, in a small Sicilian village, a young boy comes of age at the local movie theatre, where he and other locals go to escape the post-war realities of Italy. Winner of the Oscar for Best Foreign Film, and with a beautiful soundtrack by the legendary Ennio Morricone, this classic is a treat for any and all movie lovers.

Price for cooking class + screening: 240 RMB, 200 for members.

Ticket for screening: 35 RMB.
