Scott has raced on an elite level in Multisport for 15 years, a sport that demands endurance and strength within whitewater paddling, trail running, and cycling. He has raced as a solo athlete and on teams and won races in China, New Zealand, France, Norway, and The US. Scott’s steady rise to the elite level is a function of his continuous learning approach to endurance sports – everything from pulse-based training, nutrition, logistics, tactics, and the mental aspect of performance. As a coach and speaker, Scott has shared his knowledge and inspired recreational athletes and top endurance racers to better their own performance.
Since 2013 Scott has given over 25 presentations and slide shows for athletes, companies, schools, and sports clubs. Scott’s speaking engagements, which range from small groups of 10 to large auditoriums of 200, are aimed at individuals who seek out physical and mental challenges. Scott’s enthusiasm engages audiences with a mixture of inspiration and practical tips on how to create your own inner motivation.
Scott’s slideshows combine:
- Entertainment (Pictures and films from racing around the globe)
- Motivation (Finding the drive to compete against yourself or others)
- Inspiration (Find your own motivation for life’s challenges)
- Training tips (How to develop a training plan to reach your goals).
