Australian Gourmet Pies

My name is Katherine Witbreuk and I am pleased to announce that through my company, The Black Chook, I have begun making Australian gourmet pies, sausage rolls and other Australian goodies in Beijing.  I am an Australian trained chef currently employed in Beijing and have previously worked in Sydney, New York, and Holland where I was the chef for the Crown Prince and Princess of the Dutch Royal Family.

My apprenticeship was served at a Lebanese restaurant so I am also making hommos, babbaganoush and pita chips.

If there is something you would like me to make, please feel free to ask.

I am also available for catering.

All goods are hand made and are free of preservatives and additives.

Pies

Chicken pie (chicken, leek, mushroom and sage)

Lamb shank and carrot

These pies are available in two sizes:  5cm and 10cm.  Orders can be made in half dozen or dozen size – and of course multiples of 12!!

Cost of a 5cm pie is 15rmb per piece and cost of a 10cm pie is 25rmb per piece.

Rolls

Sausage rolls (minced pork and beef with sage)

Asian sausage rolls (chicken with coriander, mint and a touch of green curry)

The rolls also come in two sizes: a 2cm cocktail party bite size or a traditional 10cm size.  If you would like something in between then I am happy to oblige.

Cost of a cocktail size roll is 5rmb per piece and cost of a 10cm roll is 10rmb per piece.

Cost of a lamington and Anzac biscuit is 5rmb per piece.

Cost of a pavlova is dependant on the size you wish to order.  I can make any size you wish!!

Lebanese Food
